As NC prepares to celebrate more than 7,000 graduates during Spring Convocation, temporary parking changes will be in effect at the Welland Campus from June 8–13.

Parking lots A and C will be reserved for graduates and guests only during convocation week. All other parking lots will remain open and accessible, with alternate entry available via Woodlawn Road and Rice Road. Read more ⤵️

Hands-on learning took centre stage on May 27 as Niagara College and GM St. Catharines Propulsion Plant brought students into the field for the annual EcoSTEM workshop at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake 🌿

Save this, tag your NC friends, and get ready to celebrate your moment at !

🎓Here’s what you need to know:

✅ Arrive Early – Get to the Welland Campus at least 1 hour before your ceremony. There’s no coat check, so pack light!

👔 Dress Code – Semi-formal or business casual. Your gown will cover everything above the knees, so plan accordingly.

🎟️ Gowning Room – Follow the signs to pick up your Gown Card and Ceremony Card. No need to bring or pay for anything—it’s all provided.

📍 Line Up – Find your program sign and line up alphabetically. Staff will be there to guide you.

🏟️ During the Ceremony – Expect the ceremony to run 90–120 minutes. Please stay seated until it’s officially over.

🎓 Return Your Gown – Don’t forget to return your gown and stole to receive your credential.

⏰ Gowning Room closes at 6 PM and between AM/PM ceremonies.

Four exceptional members of the Niagara College community have been named among the recipients of the 2026 Niagara 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards.

The College’s recipients include Orel Ruiz, Director, Partnerships, Partnerships & Enterprises Division; Scott Golem, Associate Director, Horticultural and Environmental Sciences Innovation Centre (HESIC); Ashley Paling, HESIC Research Lead; and Andrea Fujarczuk, Professor and Program Coordinator, Artisan Distilling. NC welcomed guests on May 19 to the Welland Campus for Rise & Inspire: Creating Community Legacy Through Sport, a fundraising breakfast in support of NC Knights student-athlete scholarships.

Bringing together leaders from sport, government, and education, guest speakers the Honourable Neil Lumsden, Ontario’s Minister of Sport, and Paul Johnson, City Manager for the City of Toronto, sparked a timely conversation on how major sporting moments can create lasting community legacy well beyond competition.
