After six days, 12 high-energy ceremonies and thousands of congratulatory handshakes, Niagara College officially concluded its largest ever Spring Convocation on Saturday, June 13.

The marathon event marked a historic milestone for the College, adding approximately 7,000 new graduates to its global alumni family of well over 150,000.

From future business leaders, healthcare professionals, hospitality experts, technologists, and tradespeople to community service workers, media creators, and environmental specialists, the Class of 2026 is ready to make an impact wherever their journeys take them.

Convocation Update: Gym is at capacity – overflow viewing in Room SE100

The June 13 3 pm Convocation Ceremony is now at capacity, and no seats are available for guests in the Convocation Hall. Guests arriving are asked to proceed directly to Room SE100 where livestream viewing of the ceremony is available. Staff are available to guide guests to the overflow room.

Day 5 of Niagara College's Spring Convocation celebrated more than 900 graduates and outstanding achievements across the NC community.

Among the day's highlights were the achievements of Governor General's Silver Academic Medal recipient Nashwa Higazy, Distinguished Alumni Award recipient Celeste Anderson, and honorary diploma recipient Bob Martin. From Iran and India to Niagara College (NC), three members of our Class of 2026 are sharing how hands-on learning, leadership opportunities, and community involvement helped shape their student experience.

Class of 2026 graduates Flora Rofouyan, Jaskaran Singh, and Monika Sharma were among the recipients of this year's Benchmark Student Experience Scholarship, being recognized for the leadership, teamwork, and dedication they've demonstrated throughout their student journey.

Their stories highlight the diverse paths that bring students to NC and the impact of experiential learning in helping them build skills, confidence, and career-readiness.

Congratulations to Flora, Jaskaran, Monika, and fellow scholarship recipient Lily Cochrane on this well-deserved recognition, and to all members of the Class of 2026 as they begin their next chapter.

The celebrations continue during Spring Convocation 2026!

Today, we celebrated graduates from the School of Culinary Arts, School of Hospitality and Tourism, School of Wine, Beer and Spirits, School of Justice and Fitness, and the School of Trades as they crossed the stage and joined Niagara College's growing alumni community.

Our graduating class reflects many different journeys, backgrounds and life experiences. While every path to this moment has been unique, each graduate shares the perseverance and passion that made this achievement possible.

There were plenty of smiles, laughs and proud moments throughout today's ceremonies as graduates celebrated alongside classmates, friends and family.
