St. Clair College was proud to sponsor and attend this year's Black Joy Black Excellence event, put on by the Greater Essex County District School Board at the Ciociaro Club.

It's an event organized by high school students in Windsor-Essex celebrating Black culture, history, and community through the arts.

Jimmy Parsons, Chair of the Zekelman School of Business was joined by faculty members from multiple programs to join the celebration and help connect students with pathways to post-secondary education.

Operation: Defend the North Windsor took over the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts today, bringing together business leaders, cybersecurity experts, faculty and students for an interactive, live-simulation of a fictional cyber attack on the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel.

What a great day of networking and learning how to deal with a cyber crisis, from initial response to containment, and eradication to recovery.

As a military-connected college, St. Clair College is mourning with the families, friends and fellow Canadian Armed Forces members grieving the loss of four service members at CFB Wainwright.

Our thoughts are with all those feeling the pain of this tragic loss, the dozens injured, and the first responders who acted swiftly to provide assistance.

To honour the fallen, flags at all St. Clair College campuses will be lowered to half-mast this week.

When a cyberattack threatens a region’s infrastructure, the decisions reach far beyond IT. Business continuity, public safety, communication, and community trust all become part of the same crisis.

On October 20, St. Clair College and siberX are bringing Operation: Defend the North to Windsor, with a lineup of executives, cybersecurity leaders, IT professionals, and educators ready to bring their experience to the room.

At the centre of the day: a live tabletop exercise built around a fictional cyberattack involving the Windsor–Detroit tunnel. As new information emerges, you’ll watch leaders weigh difficult choices, challenge assumptions, and work through the response in real time.
