After years of dedicated service to the Odette School of Business, we are celebrating the retirement of our Manager of Finance and Administration, John Mihalo.

Throughout his career, John has been a trusted colleague, valued leader, and steady presence within our community. His commitment and behind-the-scenes contributions have helped shape the success of Odette and support generations of students, faculty, and staff. While his impact will be felt for years to come, his daily presence will be greatly missed.

On behalf of the entire Odette community, thank you, John, for your dedication, leadership, and lasting contributions. We wish you a happy and well-deserved retirement filled with new adventures and opportunities.

We're proud to share that the Odette School of Business has been recognized as a Level 4 "Transforming" business school in the 2026 Positive Impact Rating (PIR).

The PIR is a global, student-led assessment that measures how effectively business schools prepare graduates to become responsible leaders while contributing positively to society. This year, nearly 20,000 students from 87 business schools across 32 countries participated.

Moving from Level 3 to Level 4 reflects our students' growing confidence in Odette's commitment to sustainability, ethical leadership, and positive societal impact. It recognizes that these values are embedded across our teaching, governance, research, and engagement with the broader community.

Thank you to our students for making your voices heard and to our faculty, staff, alumni, and partners for helping advance our shared vision of business education that creates meaningful change.
