Canterbury College is a not for profit charitable corporation in the business of providing education and residence opportunities for students. As an affiliate college of the University of Windsor, Canterbury plays an important role in the recruitment of students, both international and domestic. The following are some of the major functions and accomplishments of Canterbury College:
• Seek to prov

ide an environment conducive to the development of the complete person - mind, body and spirit.
• Promote a positive academic environment where learning at all levels thrives through the creation of courses, and through maintenance and operation of university residence.
• Offer opportunities to excel academically, meet new friends, and live in a supportive residence environment in a home away from home while attending University. The Chair is the Bishop of Huron, currently Bishop Robert F. The local Board of Directors is run by an Executive committee elected annually, current President R. Bruck Easton. Canterbury College is home to Canterbury ElderCollege a program for the growing segment of the population over the age of 55. Designed to provide learning opportunities for older adults who wish to enrich their lifestyle through active involvement in education and contribute to the social and cultural development of the community.

BASIC LIFE ISSUES IN OUR CHANGING WORLD
An exploration of fundamental questions that arise in the search for meaning in our current world; for a sense of worth, belonging, and purpose. Areas of study may include: pandemic effects; gender and racial equality; challenges of aging; climate collapse; social divisiveness. Implications for personal growth and social involvement. Resources from religion, spirituality, and the arts.

Funeral Arrangements for the Reverend Canon Susan (Sue) Paulton

Please continue to keep in your prayers the family of the Reverend Canon Sue Paulton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 6th from 1pm to 3pm at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Windsor and from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at St. David's and St. Luke's Anglican Church, Windsor. Pre-registration is required at Families First, 3260 Dougall Avenue, South Windsor, 519-969-5841 or at this link

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 7th at 11am. A link to the live-stream may be found below at the end of Canon Sue's obituary. May Sue rest in peace and rise in glory.

The Reverend Canon Susan Paulton (Tucker)
Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday April 1, 2021 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Robin Paulton for 48 years. Loving mother of Hannah Renaud (Dave), Christian (Christie) and Bonnie Bensette (Tim). Cherished Sasa of Harrison, Elijah, Ryan, Kate and Daphne. Survived by her brothers Whit (Heather) and David. Re-united with her parents Cecil and Ella Tucker and brothers Bart and Gary (Marg). Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Susan devoted her life to the service of the Lord in the Anglican faith.

On Tuesday April 6, 2021 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 205 Laurier Dr, Windsor and from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at St David's And St. Mark's Anglican Church, 3401 Byng Rd, Windsor. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held.

Arrangements are entrusted to Families First, 3260 Dougall Avenue, South Windsor, 519-969-5841.

A very special Angel has gone to Heaven today. The Reverend Canon Sue Paulton will be missed by many. The Ministry she did at Canterbury as well as in the Deanery of Essex and the Diocese of Huron, touched so many lives in the years she was here. Our prayers are with her family. 🙏💖
