That is a wrap!! Almost 2 years of organizing and planning and wondering if we could make this happen and this picture is proof positive it did. Such a wonderful weekend full of laughter and a few tears but lots of great memories shared.

We had a committee meeting last night and talked about new memories and the fact we need to do this again in 5 years or maybe sooner! We will need volunteers!

We will be sending out a survey shortly and please take the time to fill it out and provide honest feedback.

Dear all,

The Organizing Committee is very excited to announce that our registration platform for August 1st – 3rd, 2025 is now live!



Just go to: Campus Store. Quad Reunion

You will be able to choose either the "Full Weekend Event” OR the “Saturday Event”. Descriptions are provided at the bottom within each selection.

If you have any dietary needs, please record these in the box provided for “Comments / Special Instructions”. The Organizing Committee has requested that vegetarian and gluten-free options be available. Please indicate your dietary needs so they can plan the catering accordingly. If you have dietary needs other than vegetarian or gluten-free, please be sure to let them know in that same box and the University will try to accommodate.

Accommodation:

You will also be able to book single or double accommodation at Alumni Hall Residence. We've now arranged for availability for the nights before and after the event so you can book any or all nights July 31st - August 3rd. Parking is included for August 1st and 2nd (day and overnight)!

If you have any accessibility needs, please record these in the box provided for “Comments / Special Instructions”. The University will do their best to accommodate.

Reminder: There is a “Grab and Go Sunday Breakfast” option available.



Please be sure to book your place as soon as you can so the Organizing Committee can continue to work on making the weekend as memorable as possible!

Dear Residence Alumni!!

REUNION UPDATE

We are almost ready to launch our registration portal for the University of Windsor Residence Reunion 1975 -1985, August 1st - 3rd, 2025! We will send out another email as soon as the registration portal is live!

In the meantime, the organizing committee is excited to provide the following information about what we hope will be a fun and memorable weekend for all of us to reconnect and reminisce!



The full Reunion package includes:

- Century Club for Seniors/Friday Night Welcome (casual setting; appetizers/buffet, coffee/tea/water; cash bar)

- Back to the Quad/Saturday BBQ Lunch in the Quad (BBQ, salads, fruit, water, cash bar in enclosed area; seating/mingling areas)

- Campus Tours (a lot has changed!)

- Saturday Dinner in the Alumni Auditorium (smart casual; Southern Italy Buffet; coffee/tea/water; cash bar)

- Stagshead Revisited/Saturday Evening Entertainment - Cliff Erickson!

- opportunities to contribute to our Memorial Wall

- Parking for both days

- Reunion/Alumni Swag

- Note: Registration platform provides opportunity for you to advise us of any special Dietary Needs

- Accessible Venues

Note: We are working on arranging for the UofW bookstore to be open on Saturday so you can purchase other UofW clothing or swag!



Cost: $155 per person



Saturday only (BBQ, Dinner and Entertainment) package: $135 per person

Double bed, ensuite*, kitchenette*

Parking included

Social areas on each floor

Double Occupancy: $159 per night per bedroom

Single Occupancy: $139 per night per bedroom

* Each suite has two bedrooms. If you would like to share a suite with another person or couple (both parties agreed/named), the kitchenette and bathroom would be semi-private/shared by the agreed persons. If only one bedroom is used, the other bedroom would be locked and the bathroom and kitchenette would be for your private use.



Optional Add-on: Alumni Hall Residence Sunday Grab & Go Breakfast $13.95

There are also several hotels in Windsor that offer Alumni rates.

University of Windsor Quad + Reunion!
Calling all University of Windsor Residence Alumni from 1975 to 1985!
Did you learn the economics of 5 beer for $2 from a Stagshead residence party?
Did you discover the convenience of hot, tasty and healthy meals of Vanier Hall as well as the
value of selling off your scrip to Mac Hall residents as the year progressed?
How about just making those early morning classes you couldn’t rearrange to later in your
schedule because you lived so close to the lecture hall or seminar room?
Or did you find yourself spending afternoons in front of the rented floor television or evenings
playing Trivial Pursuit with your floor mates?
If you answered yes to any of these questions and/or lived in any University Residence between
1975 - 1985, we are looking for you to join us for a weekend of catching up, camaraderie,
memory sharing/building and nostalgic reunion activities!
WHEN: August 1st - August 3th, 2025
WHERE: The Quad (and other venues tbd)
ACCOMMODATION: We are currently exploring group rates for local hotels and of course,
residence for those wanting the full nostalgic experience! More info to follow.
