Today’s featured Summer 2026 course is Introduction to Korean (ASIA 1750) from the Asian Studies Program.

This is an introductory course in modern Korean designed for students with little or no prior experience. During the course, you will develop essential basic skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing and explore key aspects of Korean culture and contemporary society. This is a six-credit hour course.

INDG 1260: Introductory Cree 2⁠

Continuation of INDG 1250 Introductory Cree 1. Practical course intended for students who are not fluent in Cree. Emphasis will be on oral work for the purpose of learning basic sounds and grammatical patterns. Some attention will be given to the structural differences between Cree and English. Regular attendance and active participation are obligatory. May not be held with the former NATV 1260.⁠

Prerequisites: INDG 1250(C), or the former NATV 1250(C)⁠

Lecture:⁠
6:00 pm - 6:50 pm, 8:00 pm - 8:50 pm M⁠

RUSN 1304: Introductory Russian 2⁠

This course develops basic reading, writing, and conversational skills. It is intended for students who have knowledge of the alphabet as well as elementary reading, comprehension, and writing skills equivalent to those achieved in RUSN 1302. May not be held with the former RUSN 1300 or the former RUSN 1330.⁠

Prerequisites: RUSN 1302(C) or written consent of department head⁠
