Thank You to everyone who came out last night in support of the Candlelight Vigil paying respects to the brave warriors of mother India who died fighting for our country. I cannot express my emotions enough seeing everyone come together as one united nation. Like the candles that were lit yesterday, always keep a flame of light in your heart for your motherland. Never EVER forget where you come from as India is not just a country, it is considered our mother. Please keep supporting our country in every way possible. Always remember Religious and Political views come after...you are always a Hindustani first. Make positive decisions and do work that will benefit the nation.

Terrorists DO NOT defeat US

We, Indian Students Association light this candle in remembrance of our brave soldiers we lost in the Pulwama terror attack. It will be conducted tomorrow February 16, 2019 from 6pm - 7pm at University of Manitoba (Administrative Building) 66 Chancellors Circle. Please arrive on time and dress for the weather as the ceremony will be conducted outside.

The flame of the candle in our center symbolizes remembrance. As we light our own candle in memory of our loved one, let us do so with gratitude that they lived and that we shared their life for a time.

As we pass the flame of remembrance from one to another let this tiny light also represent our own rebirth and renewal as we seek meaning in life without those we loved; as we strive for joy, peace and happiness; as we look to future's promise with our surviving loved ones and share our lives.

United we stand 🇮🇳

India Association of Manitoba organizing A Karaoke Night at Charisma of India Restaurant on Saturday Feb-09-2019 at 6 PM. The tickets are available and it includes Appetizers and Dinner. The ticket price is only $25 a per person.
