The Management Information Systems Association (MISA) is a student run group at the I.H. Asper Schoo Asper School of Business.

MIS is a dynamic field of study that is continuously evolving and has growing career opportunities. MISA holds an annual networking event called Biztek. Biztek provides students an opportunity to interact with business leaders in Winnipeg and to learn about how employers use Management Information Systems in the workplace. MISA also sends students to compete in case competitions such as CaseIT and

JDC West. These competitions are beneficial to students by showing them how classroom knowledge can be applied in the business world and by offering social and professional networking opportunities with other students and business professionals. MISA is open for membership to any interested student. We hope you will consider attending some of our monthly meetings or workshops that cover a wide variety of topics. Regardless of your major, leveraging technology has never been more important in today’s workplace and we hope you will join us for an exciting school year.
