With Vance Joy set to play a headline set at Winnipeg Folk Festival this weekend, just a reminder that if you want to know about artists BEFORE they become bold names on posters, we constantly play diverse and emerging acts year round. Joy recorded a live version of "Riptide" when he played a Folk Exchange show in 2013 and sat down for an interview at the time.

Aussie singer-songwriter Vance Joy came to town to play the Winnipeg Folk Festival Concert Series at the Folk Exchange but he found a bit of time to head on down to UMFM and record a couple songs and a chat.
