Exhibits are a big part of Archives and Museums, but designing them can be complex.

Will you exhibit originals or reproductions? Can your cabinets securely store an item while providing the best possible view? Does your exhibit tell a narrative and is it engaging for your audience to read?

To aid in creating more accessible exhibits, standards have been developed like the Smithsonian's Guidelines for Accessible Exhibition Design - https://resources.museumsontario.ca/resource/smithsonian-guidelines-for-accessible-exhibition-design/

The statue featured is Josef Randa's (1933-2005) "Crucified Again" from 1988. Collection of the University of Winnipeg, gift of Vaughan Baird.

These photos from the University Relations fonds show a 1985 episode that was taped on campus in the Duckworth Centre. In the photos you can see panelists Pierre Berton, Allan Fotheringham, Betty Kennedy, and Fred Davis.
