Dr. Mirjana Roksandic, Professor in the Department of Anthropology, is a Tier 1 NSERC Canada Research Chair in Human Evolution.

Dr. Sanoji Wijenayake, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology, is a Tier 2 NSERC Canada Research Chair in Milk Nanovesicles and Applied Health.

In honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, the UWinnipeg Indigenous Engagement Office is gathering donations throughout the month of June in support of 's downtown neighbour, Agape Table.

Donations can include new or gently used backpacks, water bottles, wallets, clothing, belts, jackets, toques, mitts, and shoes, as well as new socks and underwear and personal hygiene items. Gift cards and monetary donations are also being accepted.

Drop-off boxes are located in the Helen Betty Osbourne Building and in Wesley Hall.
