May Alumni Profile. 🌟 Meet Our May Alumni of the Month: Chelsea Bannatyne! 🌟
From Winnipeg to the forefront of change, Chelsea Bannatyne (BA ‘22, Human Rights & Urban and Inner-City Studies) has always been driven by a powerful question: what actually changes things?
As an Afro-Indigenous woman with Anishinaabe and Barbadian roots, Chelsea turned lived experience into purpose, earning a double major in Human Rights & Urban and Inner-City Studies, followed by a Master of Indigenous Development in 2025. Today, she is making real impact through research, policy, and advocacy, building stronger and safer futures for Indigenous and racialized communities. 💛🖤✊
We are so proud to celebrate her journey! 🎉
