Hi, everyone, come and join us this evening at 6pm for more Bannock making fun. Last week we did Bannock and it was a hit, and we want to do one more session so that we are ready for next week when we bake Pigs in a Blanket.

Attention, good Samaritan alert!!

This afternoon we had A visitor from The University of Winnipeg Collegiate, grade 10 student and member of the student counsel, Anan DJot-Kaur-Dhillon who generously came in with a huge donation of $72, which was raised by the student counsel. Anan was given the task of choosing a recipient to donate to, she chose Elwick Village Resource Centre, as she had been here many times and felt that we were a great place to donate to.
Also, her family personally donated two large bags of apples to the center. I smell apple pie in the next few days!!

We would like to say Thank You to the School and to Anan and her family for choosing us as the recipient.

So, Make and Take was a booming success. The smells of chili and rice really hit the senses, not to mention the taste :)
If you are interested in Make and Take, come down to Elwick Village Centre to sign up for the next weeks session, we will be making PIZZA!
