The Odd Fellows and Hope Rebekah Lodges were such a key part of Wawanesa's fabric for decades. Looking at the iconic brick building in town, complete with the famous three-chain link emblem on the facade—symbolizing friendship, love, and truth—it’s amazing to think about the history that happened right inside those doors.
​It would be wonderful to hear more local stories about their community work, the events hosted there, and the lifelong friendships formed.

The Oddfellows Brandon Lodge #6 that has been serving Brandon and area communities for more than a century, planted 4 trees at the Belmont Community Forest in Belmont MB. This initiative was planned on Earth Day coinciding with the Conferring of the initiatory degree to junior member Ivan who lives in Belmont.

May the principles of Friendship Love and Truth grow always as do the trees.

Present at the tree planting Odd Fellows and Rebekahs: Steven and Bernice from Rapid City, Odd Fellows: Johny, Ivan and volunteering, Alonzo all from Belmont.

On June 15th Naomi Rebekah Lodge #6 had the Rebekah Assembly of Manitoba President Betty Willsey visit us. We also held the District #6 meeting. District #6 includes the Wawanesa and Brandon Lodges.

Sister Betty and some lodge members with the cake and also one with Sister Betty cutting the cake. We had 28 members present.

Grand Master Visits

Brandon City Lodge #6 had the Grand Master Lynne Stevens make her official visit yesterday. 17 Odd Fellows were present.

With 144 years of service in Brandon, Manitoba, Brandon City Lodge #6 is pleased to announce the induction of a new member and the formation of a committee dedicated to environmental stewardship. The lodge's Earth Day celebration featured the Living Legacy Tree Planting Program.
