Brody Juck is coming to Acadia University and the Axemen hockey team after more than 215 junior hockey games across the BCHL and AJHL.

A smart, reliable defenceman with extensive junior hockey experience is joining the Axemen program in U SPORTS hockey and Atlantic University Sport (AUS) competition.

From Wolfville to France 🇫🇷

Congratulations to Luke Zazula, who has signed a professional contract with the Nantes Corsairs following four seasons with the Axemen hockey program.

Zazula played 104 regular season games at Acadia, recording three goals and 26 assists while bringing a steady presence to the Axemen blue line.

A few more moments worth celebrating.

Convocation may be a few weeks behind us, but these photos are a reminder of what an incredible accomplishment graduation is for our student-athletes.

Years of early mornings, late nights, practices, travel, competition and coursework all led to these moments. The smiles, hugs, proud families and well-earned degrees tell a story that goes far beyond the field, court, rink or course.

We’re proud of everything these graduates achieved during their time at Acadia and grateful for the impact they made on our teams, our campus and our community.

From Wolfville to Italy 🇮🇹

Congratulations to Thomas Couture, who has signed a professional contract with HC Merano of the Alps Hockey League following his graduation from the Axemen hockey program.

Reflecting on his time at Acadia, Couture said he is grateful for the friendships, memories and support he received throughout his university career, adding that representing the Axemen was an experience he will always cherish.

Couture leaves Acadia after a remarkable final season that saw him earn U SPORTS Goaltender of the Year honours and be named a U SPORTS First Team All-Canadian.
