Some Axemen connections at Winnipeg Blue Bombers training camp.

Axemen head coach Jeff Cummins has been with the Blue Bombers as a guest coach, connecting with Acadia alum Jake Thomas — now the club’s Defensive Line Coach — and Special Teams Coordinator Mike Miller.

The Blue Bombers open preseason play Saturday against Saskatchewan before beginning the regular season on June 5 in Calgary.

Great to see Acadia represented at the professional level.
