Batch Invictus wrapped up their intensive 2-day orientation, packed with valuable learning and skill enhancement!

Tomorrow, we will rise stronger as we embark on our clinical rotations in our respective departments. Let us embrace this journey, have fun, and make the most of every learning opportunity during our 1-year stay at R2TMC.

A group of PLTCI College of Medicine students, in collaboration with Barangay Quirino, conducted a successful community duty. The medical students held a supplemental feeding program, demonstrated proper hand washing techniques, and discussed Pinggang Pinoy for healthier living.

Together, we’re making a healthier community!

We are thrilled to share the success of the recent community health event, organized in collaboration with the group of PLTCI College of Medicine Batch Invictus students and Barangay Curifang, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya! With the theme, "𝐒𝐚 𝐏𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚-𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐒𝐚 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭!", inspired a day filled with education, activities, and community spirit aimed at promoting nutrition and well-being for everyone.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and made this event possible. Together, we are making strides towards a healthier, happier community.

PLTCI College of Medicine Batch Invictus, in collaboration with Barangay Quezon, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, proudly participated in the Nutrition Month Celebration 2024 with the theme '𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐏𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐀-𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐀 𝐒𝐀 𝐍𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐒𝐀 𝐋𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐓.'

Vitamin A supplementation, deworming, prenatal check-ups, teenage pregnancy tracking, immunizations, and vital signs monitoring, along with educational sessions on nutrition, hypertension, diabetes, mental health, and STIs were rendered by our medical students during their stay at the community.

Additionally, they served as resource speakers for '𝐒𝐊'𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚: 𝐀𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐤 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.'

Had an amazing time conducting the 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 at Solano North Elementary School! 🌟 It was inspiring to see the engagement and enthusiasm of the Grade 6 students from sections Patience, Unity, and Courage. Together, we are empowering our youth with knowledge and support for a brighter future.

A huge thank you to Barangay Osmeña Health Center led by Barangay Captain Hon. Danilo E. Domingo and Ma’am Jessa Mae C. Carbonell, RN, Solano North Elementary School Principal Jovelyn G. Lacangan, and the dedicated Grade 6 advisers for making this event possible. Your support and collaboration are truly appreciated! 🙏❤️

A group of PLTCI College of Medicine Batch Invictus students, in collaboration with Barangay Osmeña, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, successfully hosted the event: 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Activities included a feeding program, Zumba, and health education sessions, with the support of Barangay Captain Hon. Danilo E. Domingo and Ma’am Jessa Mae C Carbonell, RN. We extend our gratitude to all participants and contributors for making this event a resounding success.

Special thanks to DepEd's Medical Officer III, Dr. RC Arriola-Buccat, for his dedication to our community's health and well-being. Together, we are building a healthier future to our community!

On February 26 - March 1, 2024 the PLTCI - College of Medicine will hold its very first Medicine Week with the theme "Breaking Barriers: Overcoming Adversities in Medicine".

In line with this theme, the college will hold a Medical Mission on February 28 (8 AM - 11 AM) which will include the following free health services:

FREE MEDICAL CHECKUP
FREE MEDICINE and VITAMINS
BLOOD-LETTING ACTIVITY
FEEDING PROGRAM
HEALTH FORUM

This initiative is in partnership with:
