TODAY! Members of the Zink and Posaune classes will take part in the Vortragsstunde Alta Capella, lead by Ian Harrison, at 18.00, Studio Eckenstein.

Expect beautiful songs and joyful dances, cornetts, sackbuts, slide trumpets, Schalmei and plenty of percussion.

The perfect way to bring in the Easter Weekend 🌷🌼🪺

We will be there with a performance by Andrea Marcons harpsichord class and with the final concert of the Ensemble week of Frithjof Smith and Catherine Motuz.

COMING UP NEXT WEEK.... One of the highlights of our year is the Intensivewoche, 5 days of intensive rehearsals culminating in a spectacular evening performance on Friday.

This year we will focus on the Psalmen Davids of Heinrich Schütz ( Dreamy repertoire for historic brass players! )

Schütz studied with Giovanni Gabrieli in Venice, and his music is highly influenced by these studies, and so obviously we will be playing some instrumental sonatas and canzonas by Gabrieli as well !
