Here you will find information on study programs led by scholars, researchers and professionals from the Sections of the Goetheanum - Freie Hochschule für Geisteswissenschaft The ‹Anthroposophical Studies in English› program permits primarily younger people to acquire new orientation and depth in the pursuit of Anthroposophy.

Heads and Hands! 🖐️🪨

Guided by the teacher Barbara Schnetzler, students immersed themselves in an intense process of observation, concentration, and creation.

Working with clay for hours each day, they shaped a human head, and for many, this was the very first time!

In the end, each sculpture carried something unique, unveiling something of oneself that only each of them could express.

🔍 Research work is a vital part of the Anthroposophical Study on Campus program.

🎓 During the course, students work freely on a chosen topic with the assistance of their mentors. At the end of the academic year, they submit a paper and do a presentation marking the closure of this special learning experience.

Reflection, Initiative, Beginning 💭

👨🏻‍🏫 Here Robin Schmidt, one of our faculty members, talks a bit about the purpose of participating in the Anthroposophy Studies on Campus.

🧠 By working with Rudolf Steiner’s texts, our teachers encourage the creative activity of thinking to make learning fruitful, meaningful, and lasting.

📖 The morning classes are based on book study and driven by open discussions around questions brought by the students themselves. Participants who are already familiar with Steiner’s writings and those who are new to anthroposophical content will benefit equally from small-size classes and close interaction with the teachers and visiting lecturers.
