Bonjour !
Voilà enfin le résumé tant attendu de la dernière journée de Hydrocontest-X !
Nous avons d’abord disputé la finale de la catégorie légère, remportée face à Team HEIG - VD HYDROcontest. Cette victoire a amené notre Bifoiler sur la première place du podium dans cette catégorie ! 🎉
L'après-midi était dédié à la course d'endurance. Le but étant de faire le plus de tours en une heure avec le bateau de notre choix et une charge de minimum 20kg, tout en gérant notre consommation. Après de longues réflexions, nous avons décidé d’engager notre bateau lourd modifié pour qu’il soit adapté aux critères de cette course. La course fut très intense et les deux premières places se sont une nouvelle fois jouée entre Team HEIG - VD HYDROcontest et notre équipe ! Ayant atteint la limite de notre batterie dans le dernier mètre pour valider notre dernier tour, nous avons effectué le même nombre de tour que l'équipe d'Yverdon. Cependant, ayant validé leur dernier tour avant nous, ils remportent la victoire. Félicitations à eux ! Nous ramenons donc la deuxième place dans cette catégorie 😊
Pour résumer la semaine, nous avons remporté la troisième place dans la catégorie "Transport de Masse", la deuxième place dans la Course d'Endurance, et la première dans la catégorie “Bateau Léger” ainsi que dans la catégorie "Efficience Energétique - Bateau Léger".
De beaux résultats et une bonne manière de terminer le chapitre HydroContest pour la team EPFL.

Hello !
Finally, here is the long-awaited summary of the last day of Hydrocontest-X!
We first competed in the lightweight final, which we won against Team HEIG - VD HYDROcontest. This victory brought our Bifoiler to the first place on the podium in this category! 🎉
The afternoon was dedicated to endurance racing. The goal is to do the most laps in one hour with the boat of our choice and a load of 20kg, while managing our consumption. After long reflections, we decided to race with our heavy boat, modified so that it would be adapted to the criteria of this race. The race was very intense and the first two places were once again between Team HEIG - VD HYDROcontest and our team ! Having reached the limit of the battery on the last meter to validate our final lap, we completed the same number of laps as the team from Yverdon. Unfortunately, they crossed the finish line seconds before us to claim the first place, leaving us in second place for this race. Congratulations to them! 🙂
To summarize the week, we won third place in the "Mass Transport" category, second place in the Endurance Race, and first place in the "Light Boat" category as well as in the "Energy Efficiency - Light Boat" category.
These are beautiful results and a good way to finish the HydroContest chapter for the EPFL team.
