Professor Dario Silic, PhD, of SSBM Geneva participated in the AmCham Gala Evening with American companies in Zagreb on 22 October 2026, bringing together business leaders and representatives to celebrate collaboration, networking, and shared values.

A meaningful highlight of the evening was the humanitarian initiative supporting SOS Children’s Village Croatia and Plavi telefon, two organizations dedicated to supporting children and those in need.

The final days of the SSBM Geneva Immersion Program brought entrepreneurship, finance, international cooperation, and leadership into focus.

From building a Swiss start-up strategy and visiting the United Nations in Geneva to exploring Swiss banking and leadership in an AI-driven economy, participants connected academic insights with real-world business challenges.

SSBM Geneva Students visit UNITAR.

As part of this year’s Immersion Program, SSBM Geneva students visited the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in Geneva, under the guidance of Dr. Olesya Meskina, SSBM Geneva Professor.

The visit offered an opportunity to explore Geneva’s international environment and reflect on the importance of global cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and lifelong learning in addressing today’s complex challenges.

Immersion Program Geneva, Days 2 and 3 Highlights!

Days 2 and 3 of the SSBM Geneva Immersion Program brought inspiring discussions and valuable insights into global competitiveness, commercial diplomacy, critical thinking, and AI's evolving role in business and society.

From exploring Switzerland’s competitive advantage and the impact of economic nationalism to discussing human rights, AI governance, and Human Evolution & AI, these sessions highlighted the importance of innovation, responsible leadership, and international collaboration in an increasingly interconnected world.

From 12–16 October 2026, participants came together at SSBM Geneva for a week of academic learning, professional development, and international networking.

The first day began with registration and networking, followed by engaging sessions on Digital Transformation & Innovation Leadership and Innovation Culture & High-Performing Teams. Participants also visited the International Red Cross in Geneva, gaining valuable insights into its mission and global impact.

SSBM Geneva is proud to recognize Dr. Hamid Mattiello, professor and DBA mentor, for being selected for the IISE Future Faculty Fellows (3F) Program for a second consecutive year (2025–2027)!

For the 2026–2027 cohort, Prof. Mattiello will mentor a PhD fellow from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), providing guidance in research development, teaching strategies, and academic career preparation.
