Current demographic trends mean an ever-increasing number of patients with vessel diseases including circulatory disorders of the legs, narrowing of the carotid artery, enlargement of the aorta and diseases of the veins, such as the varicose veins. Thanks to a combination of knowledge, training and experience, vascular diseases can now be treated very effectively by open and endovascular procedure

s. The VASCULAR INTERNATIONAL Foundation and School aims to teach vascular surgical skills to the highest quality, thus allowing the use of modern technology for invasive vascular procedures for the benefit of the individual patient.

The past Fundamentals Course and Masterclass Course week in Sarnen was once again a great success. Despite the very warm weather on the first days the participants highly valued the hands-on training sessions. The next Fundamentals Course and Masterclass Course will take place from January 22 to January 27, 2023 in our Vascular International Training Center at the Kurhaus Hotel am Sarnersee in Sarnen (CH). Registration is open and seats are limited so register now to secure your training spot.

For those who would like to learn more on Endovascular and Venous Training we organise from November 6 to November 9 the 2nd VI - DGG certified Advanced Endovascular Course (German spoken) and on November 10 and November 11 we organise for the first time our Venous Masterclass. The Vascular International Masterclass 2022 has come to an end. It was great to see everybody training so hard and improving so well. Vascular International would like to thank the participants, the medical partners for their ungoing support, tutors and all others involved for their contribution. It was again a real succes!

This morning the famous Vascular International Masterclass has started at the VI Training Centre at Hotel Kurhaus am Sarnersee in Sarnen, Switzerland.
The next 2,5 days this workshop provides excellent hands-on experience on pulsatile realistic models to perform open straight forward and complex aortic repair, endovascular aortic reconstruction, carotid endarterectomy and distal bypass surgery as well as virtual simulation for carotid, iliac and renal interventions (22 CME Credits). www.vascular-international.org

With the famous Running Suture Award the Fundamentals Course 2022 came to an end. After an exiting 2 hours under difficult conditions (32 grd C) Zihao Li made the best patch and was the overall winner. Vascular International would like to thank all participants, medical partners, tutors and technicians for a successful course.

Junior vascular surgeons from all over the world arrived in the Vascular International Training Center this morning to participate in the Fundamentals in Vascular Surgery Techniques workshop and Cardiovascular Course. Both courses provide an excellent hands-on experience on uniquely realistic pulsatile models. In the next 3 three days the young medical specialists will experience an enhanced training and learning of vascular surgical techniques.
