ssociation Art Dialog est une toute jeune organisation à but non lucratif, rassemblant des personnes actives dans les domaines de la culture et de l’économie. Elle a été fondée à l’initiative de Dimitri Vasylyev, musicien, chef d’orchestre et directeur musical. Art Dialog a pour activité principale la planification et la réalisation de différents projets dans le domaine de l’art, susceptibles de toucher toutes les tranches d’âge. Art Dialog offre une plate-forme à des artistes connus, suisses ou étrangers, et encourage en outre des jeunes talents du monde entier. L’Association Art Dialog désire également contribuer, par la réalisation de ses projets, à la tradition du bilinguisme dans le canton de Berne. L’Association Art Dialog entend offrir et pratiquer l’art au plus haut niveau. Das Ziel des Festivals ist es, weltweit bekannte Musikensembles der klassischen Musik zusammen mit internationalen und nationalen Talenten eine gemeinsame Plattform zu geben. Der zweite Schwerpunkt ist die Synergie von Musik und Kunst herzustellen, insbesondere der visuellen Kunst von internationalen und nationalen Malern, der Oenologie preisgekrönter Weine aus der Bielerseeregion und neu dem Ballet, die Kunst des Tanzes.

MEMBER’S PRESENTATION: SVETLANA VASYLYEVA

Today we are happy to present our colleague Svetlana Vasylyeva from La Neuveville, Switzerland.

Since 2012, Svetlana has been the President and Artistic Director of the ArtDialog Verein. In this position, she has had the opportunity to cooperate with internationally recognized artists such as Natalia Gutman, Boris Berezovsky, Heinz Holliger, Nikolai Lugansky, Miklós Perényi, Mikhail Pletnev and Arcadi Volodos; she has also collaborated with organizations such as the Rostropovich Foundation and numerous Swiss foundations. She is also on the lookout for young talents and develops cultural projects for them in partnership with the Rachmaninoff Foundation at Villa Senar in Switzerland.

Svetlana is a professional violonist. She trained at the Special Music School and at the National Tchaikovsky Music Academy in Kyiv as well as at the European Mozart Academy for Chamber Music and at the Geneva University of Music (HEM). She also completed a course in Management of cultural projects in the frame of artos - Université de Lausanne.

As a musician, Svetlana has pursued her career in Ukraine with the Orchestra of the National Opera and the Kyiv Chamber Orchestra. In 2000, she moved with her family to Switzerland. Since then, she has worked with orchestras such as the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Orchester der Oper Zürich, the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, das Musikkollegium Winterthur and musicAeterna.

Svetlana is convinced that “only those can be called professionals who are passionately devoted to their work, constantly evolving and seeking perfection; however, they know that this path is endless.”
