We are sad to announce to you that Professor Emeritus F. Troyon passed away peacefully on January 10th. Prof. Troyon was Director of the CRPP from 1981 to 1999. During his life long career at the CRPP, he has made invaluable contribution to the development of fusion. His visionary leadership was determinant in the long term success of our laboratory.
The funerals have been held on January 14th in Lausanne.
