📢 We’re thrilled to announce that Sabine Süsstrunk has been appointed as the new dean of the School of Computer and Communication Sciences (IC), effective 1 September 2025! 👩‍💼🎉

Prof. Süsstrunk is a leading expert in computational photography, computer vision, generative AI, and computational aesthetics. She has led the Images and Visual Representation Lab since 2014 and was the founding director of EPFL’s Digital Humanities Institute. Currently serving as president of the Swiss Science Council, she also co-founded the WISH Foundation to support women in science. 💡👩‍🔬

Last weekend, the Orbital Game Jam brought game lovers together at Satellite for 24 hours of creativity, collaboration, and fun! Teams took on the challenge of designing a game from scratch, drawing inspiration from this year’s theme: Atomic. 💥⚛️
