Our Term 4 Culinary students together with their lecturer Erik Pravica visited Obrist wine cellar and delved into its production (vinification) and import processes, they discovered not only wines such as indigenous for Switzerland Chasselas and sweet Doral but also discovered the oak wood used for cooperage (making barrels or casks to age wines in), got insights on cellar management and just enjoyed the visit.

We are happy to congratulate the winners of the Cooking battle by Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland: Martha, Tatiana, Jai, Maria, Derek & Tim! Well done to all the contestants of Round 1 & 2 💪It's been an honour and we are grateful to our distinguished judges Walter El Nagar from Le Cinquième Jour, Konstantinos Kamperis and Christian Konrad, as well as thanking our partners for this project Hôtel Royal - Evian Resort, Cook'n'show, Palexpo, Le Cinquième Jour. Today is the time to reveal the President of the Jury for the Cooking battle by Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland. Welcome Chef Walter El Nagar from Le Cinquième Jour, Geneva! On the 12th of November he'll be the head of jury panel, the team that scores the highest by this panel will be attributed the “1st place” for the "Culinary Battle 2019" within Cook'n'show at Palexpo. We keep saying Communications is the key, look at her way demonstrating how communications can go in an unexpected direction and why it's so important to make sure it doesn't! 😁
