wischen muslimischen Studierenden fördern, ihre Interessen vertreten und als Ansprechpartner für Fragen und Anliegen rund um das studentische Alltagsleben in Zürich zur Verfügung stehen. Ein weiterer Bestandteil unserer Arbeit sehen wir darin, einen Raum zu schaffen für interreligiöse Dialoge an Hochschulen. The Muslim Students Association Zurich (MSAZ) was established in 2012 as a university association recognized by the University of Zurich and by VSETH (Association of Students at the ETH). As a community platform, we want to encourage exchanges between Muslim students, represent their needs and serve as a contact point for questions and concerns regarding student life in Zurich. Another part of our work consists in creating a space for interreligious dialogue at universities. The MSAZ organizes various events and welcomes everyone regardless of their ethnic origin, religious or ideological convictions.

We want to thank everyone participating and helping us this Ramadan! The last couple of weeks have been truly special and blessed alhamdulillah 🌟

Thank you to .diyanet who sponsored a majority of our Iftars with delicious food 🤍 without you we wouldn’t have been able to held such numerous Iftars this Ramadan!

„I feel so burdened, who can I talk to?“ „My family has so many expectations of me – I can‘t take it anymore!“
Young Muslims today have to deal with various issues related to mental health and wellbeing, ranging for example from stress, to relationship issues or addictive behaviours. Muslim Spiritual Care Zurich (QuaMS) is an organization founded by the Canton of Zurich and The Association of Islamic Organizations in Zürich (VIOZ) and helps Muslims navigating through these and other issues.

In this spring semester, you have the opportunity again to book in-person sessions, each of which lasts 45 minutes. Both Sumaya and Kaser are licensed and experienced Muslim chaplains and they will be alternating each week. You are welcome to discuss with them any topic you need to get off your chest. All conversations are completely confidential.

Registration is anonymous; only the QuaMS secretary will see your registration.

Ramadan mubarak everyone! We are excited to invite you to our Iftar on Campus 🌟
We are hosting 9 Iftars again this year inshaAllah and the participation is completely free for everyone!
There are some special collaborative Iftars coming up for you with other students associations, Islamic Relief and Swiss Barakah ✨

To make these gatherings even more special, we warmly welcome your contributions. If you’d like to support, you can donate by scanning the code or through bank transfer (details provided). Every contribution helps us create a welcoming space to break our fast together 🤲❤️
