European and Asian Business Management, University of Zurich We are a part of University of Zurich and we offer a unique advanced study program that provides deep insights about Asian and European markets.

Our Master of Advanced Study Degree, in short MAS, is awarded in Switzerland, Lichtenstein and Austria as a continuing education degree. Our studies are the result of well-defined needs of our students and raising importance of Asian markets in the globalised world. Our professors and guest lecturers come from world’s top universities including University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Tsinghua University, Bocconi University, ETH and University of Zurich.

This week, hosted the Swiss-Viet Economic Forum at the University of Zurich. This event was supported by the Embassy of Viet Nam to Switzerland. At the forum, we learned about the latest business developments in Viet Nam from high-level speakers such as the Ambassador of Viet Nam to Switzerland, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Viet Nam, the former Vice Chancellor of Germany, representatives from SECO, the Vice President of UZH, the Dean of the Faculty of Business at UZH, and many more.

The event hosted over 200 participants interested in discussing Swiss-Vietnamese business relationships and the prospects of the FTA between the two countries. It was a great opportunity for our and to network and meet high-level officials. One of our EABM students even had the opportunity to present her startup to the Ambassador of Viet Nam. If you are ready to build a career with an international business footprint, this is the program for you!

Paris Study Trip 2022 (part 1)
Our students learn more about the French savoir-faire, French luxury industry and sustainability.
They visit Groupe Pochet which is a B2B business in the world of luxury packaging. The CEO of Comité Colbert which is the collective representing the French luxury industry gave us an introduction into the savoir-faire and the French luxury industry. Seminars taught by marketing directors of prestigious luxury brands show us their world and SVP of Schneider Electric France shared with us why sustainability is critical in today’s business world.

Our Story

The Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in European and Chinese Business Management offered by the University of Zurich is a top-level post-graduate study program. In light of China’s emergence into the central stage of world affairs and the growing importance of cooperation between China and Europe from a socio-economic development perspective, business leaders and managers who work in the context of either continent need to have profound interdisciplinary know-how and strong intercultural competences.

The MAS ECBM program offers both advanced theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills in international management. Students with high career ambitions and promising managerial potentials from around the world study in an intellectually challenging and inspiring environment. Courses are taught in English by an international faculty with lecturers from world renowned universities and business schools. Guest lectures contribute to the learning of applied knowledge. In addition, elective courses are provided, which include seminars on the latest developments in the business world and business Chinese/German language courses. The mandatory 6-month internship in an international company provides an ideal opportunity to grow one’s professional network and apply classroom knowledge in the business world.
