🌍🧠 Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland (ALSS) at the International Conference on Medical Education (ICME 2026), Maldives 🇲🇻

The Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland (ALSS) was proudly represented by its Rector, Prof. Dr. Fadil Tafil Çitaku, PhD, MME (University of Bern), at the International Conference on Medical Education (ICME 2026), hosted by Maldives National University (MNU) in Malé, Maldives, on 26–27 October 2026.

Prof. Dr. Çitaku contributed to this prestigious international academic event through two scientific activities: an interactive workshop and a symposium presentation.

🎓 1. International Workshop – 26 October 2026

“Leading with the Brain, Heart and Social Mind: Applying Neuroleadership, Emotional Intelligence and Social Intelligence in Medical Education.”

This interactive workshop explored the practical application of neuroscience-based leadership, emotional intelligence, and social intelligence in medical education.

Participants examined how understanding brain functions, emotions, and social interactions can enhance leadership competencies, strengthen collaboration, improve decision-making, and create more effective learning environments in medical and healthcare institutions.

🎓 2. Symposium Presentation – 27 October 2026

“The Impact of Neuroleadership on Innovation in Medical Education: Transforming Learning, Leadership and Organisational Excellence.”

During his scientific presentation, Prof. Dr. Çitaku highlighted the transformative potential of Neuroleadership in medical education, focusing on neuroscience-informed decision-making, innovation, effective leadership, organisational development, and academic excellence.

His presentation emphasised the importance of integrating scientific knowledge about the human brain into leadership education and institutional practices to prepare future generations of competent, innovative, and socially responsible leaders.

We are delighted to congratulate Christopher B. Essilfie on successfully completing his 𝗠𝗕𝗔 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 (𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗦).

His pioneering research, entitled: “𝗘𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗔𝗦 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: 𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀” addresses a highly significant and underexplored area of international sports law. This pioneering study makes a valuable contribution to the evolving field of sports dispute resolution, offering important insights into the enforceability of mediation agreements and their implications for international sports governance and legal practice.

Throughout the MBA programme, Chris consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment, extensive legal knowledge, intellectual curiosity, and the highest standards of professionalism. It has been a genuine pleasure having him as our student.

The Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland (ALSS) is proud to announce that its Rector, Prof. Dr. Fadil Çitaku, PhD, will contribute as a speaker at the International Conference on Medical Education (ICME) 2026, taking place on 26–27 October 2026 at The Maldives National University, Malé, Maldives.

As part of this collaboration, on July 27, 2026, the Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland hosted MBA students and professors from Northern Illinois University in Switzerland.
