From Japanese innovation to global business strategy in action 🌏🍜
Our UIBS Tokyo students recently visited the iconic Museum in Yokohama, turning a cultural experience into a real-world deep dive into global business, branding, and supply chain excellence.
🍜 What appears to be a playful museum visit is, in reality, a powerful live case study in FMCG strategy, international expansion, and long-term brand leadership. From the invention of instant noodles in Japan in 1958 to a globally consumed everyday product, this industry demonstrates how innovation in packaging, logistics, and scalable distribution can drive worldwide success. ✨
▶ Students explored how the brand has maintained global leadership for decades through continuous product innovation, diversification, nostalgic branding, and immersive consumer experiences, a clear example of how marketing strategy evolves while preserving identity. 🌟
▶ This visit directly connects with key programs at UIBS Tokyo:

🇯🇵 Theory meets practice in every destination. In Tokyo, students don’t just study global business, they observe it operating at full scale in real time.
