Die Matterhorn Group AG wird zur Zermatt Hospitality Group AG. Mit diesem neuen Namen verbinden wir unsere tiefen Wurzeln in Zermatt mit einem modernen Auftritt – ohne unsere Werte und Traditionen aus den Augen zu verlieren.

Seit über 150 Jahren prägt Pioniergeist die Hotellerie und Gastronomie in Zermatt. Als lokal verankertes Unternehmen setzen wir diese Geschichte fort und schaffen authentische Erlebnisse für unsere Gäste – von der Berghütte bis zum Fine Dining.

The Matterhorn Group AG is now Zermatt Hospitality Group AG. This rebranding reflects our deep roots in Zermatt while embracing a modern identity – all without losing sight of our values and traditions.

For over 150 years, pioneering spirit has shaped hospitality and gastronomy in Zermatt. As a locally anchored company, we continue this legacy, creating authentic experiences for our guests – from mountain lodges to fine dining.

World Conservation Day
Our hotels and restaurant facilities have successfully transformed bioorganic waste into green electricity and district heating at the Zermatt biogas plant. This initiative led to a significant reduction of 114.6 tons of waste in the year 2022.

Through our owner, the Burgergemeinde Zermatt, we are involved with two local alpine cooperatives that produce cheese and meat served to our guests in our hotels and restaurants establishments.

WORLD DAY OF NATURE CONSERVATION
We're proud to heat some of our buildings using locally sourced wood pellets made from forest residues owned by our parent company, Burgergemeinde Zermatt. By doing so, we support the sustainable management of 900 hectares of local forests while achieving climate-neutral heating for the 5-star Grand Hotel Zermatterhof.
