Dear people,

Meet Andrea! She's been a very good friend of English Week since the beginning. Every year, Andrea has captivated us with her amazing costumes (all made by herself), giving the English Week an incomparable artistic touch. Besides, she's very friendly and kind to offer her skills for this event!

Now, she's about to take a great step in her career: She has the opportunity to win a scholarship in a professional make up school in the US, called Cinema Makeup School!

Remember, people!

If you want to participate in this version of EW 2014, you will have the chance NOW to join the houses! Remember, people who don't belong to any house, won't be considered to participate in any of the contests during the whole week! That because we need a real number of participants for contests such as THG, and also, there are some issues that EW Staff must take care of regarding the real number of participants, for the good development of the event.
If you want to be part of the event, send us a message and we'll add you to one of the Houses.

Deadline: OCTOBER 19TH, 23:59 hrs. You still have two hours!

That is because there are some contests that depend on the number of members per house. In addition, there are some issues that EW Staff must care for the good development of the event.

Dear students,
We've got some exciting news about what's coming for this year's English Week! To begin with, from this year on, the teams will no longer be two different countries, but instead we'll divide them into four different houses, named after four renowned writers:
House of Shakespeare
House of Doyle
House of Lovecraft
House of Tolkien
Besides that, on Wednesday afternoon we will publish four lists (one for each house) so that you can choose the house you'll be part of during the English Week. This means this year you'll have total freedom to choose your team.
And the last piece of news, but not the least, in this link you will find a very short questionnaire that might help you choose your house according to your personality traits. Remember that the House you're sorted into is NOT compulsorily the house you'll have to choose. This questionnaire is just to help you make your decision.
As you can see, we changed a lot of things in the project, and there are many more changes to come! We want to make this English Week 2014 unforgettable! If you have any doubts, just ask us via this profile, or directly to any member of the Staff.

Well, guys...this was the fourth version of English Week 2013 "A New Beginning"!
Thanks to those who participated in every single contest! We truly appreciate you!
