2023/2024 School year:Department of CADS to prioritize Radio Practicals.

Some 25 Student news producers and Programme producers have pledged to intensify their productions at the University campus radio this school year . The commitment was made October 3rd at the conference Hall of the university of Bamenda campus Radio,UBa Voice,FM 91.5 Tuesday in a meeting chaired by professor Muluh Henry, Vice dean faculty of Arts and acting head of department,CADS.

The focus of the meeting was to ensure continuity of radio programmes on the air waves of the University of Bamenda campus radio(UBa Voice FM 91.5), Over 25 student producers and presenters were coached on how to make the most of the university radio and how to make a name for themselves.

The general orientation meeting was organized by the Departmental students association, The Association of communication and Development students -University of Bamenda (ACADSUBa) , at the request of the chief of programs for the University Radio, Ngong Song Jean Marie.

The meeting concerntrated on identifying the major challenges faced by students in their delivery of radio programmes and explore avenues for improvement as well as to Drill presenters and producers on the editorial policy of the radio.

Speaking during the event, the Acting HOD, professor Henry Muluh encouraged participants to aim for professionalism, develop a constant spirit of learning and to accept criticisms not just from lecturers or seniors but also from their peers.

Founded in 2015 with the vision of forming a new breed of development communicators.
