200 BUST-CTGU SCHOLARSHIPS!
TWO HUNDRED (200) SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS FOR STUDIES IN CAMEROON AND CHINA
The China Three Gorges University (CTGU), China in partnership with the Bamenda University Institutes of Science and Technology (BUST), Cameroon, are awarding Two Hundred (200) scholarships to qualified Cameroonians to pursue HND and B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering during the next four years, starting from the 2025/2026 academic year.
The CTGU, one of China’s renown universities founded in 2000 consist of 29 colleges and offers 70 undergraduate and 164 graduate (Masters & doctorate degrees) programs. Also, CTGU has excellent living and study facilities for international students (http://ctgu.admissions.cn/).
The BUST founded in 1995 and operational in 1998 is the Pioneer Private Higher Education Institution in Cameroon, and has excellent facilities for science and technology studies. BUST consists of 05 higher institutions and offers 25 HND, 37 undergraduate and 39 Masters degree programs (http://bustedu.com/academics/)
The scholarship awards cover the following:
1. Partial tuition fees at BUST
2. Round-trip air ticket and Chinese Visa fees
3. Full tuition, boarding, book fees, health insurance, and monthly stipend at CTGU
Four categories of applicants are eligible for the scholarship:
A. Category 1 Criteria:
1. Applicant was enrolled in the BUST HND Program and graduated in 2024/2025
2. Copies of HND Program Transcripts and Certificate
B. Category 2 Criteria:
1. Applicant is enrolled in the BUST HND Program and poised to graduate in 2025/2026
2. Copies of HND Program Transcripts
C. Category 3 Criterion:
1. Applicant is enrolled in the BUST HND Program and poised to graduate after 2025/2026
D. Category 4 Criterion:
1. Voluntary transfer to BUST with certified transcript(s)
Eligibility Criteria for all Categories:
1. Written Application, addressed to the VC, BUST
2. Completion of Administrative Application Forms at BUST
Enrollment is currently going on at BUST for category 2, 3 & 4 applicants.
Completed application: files should be put in an A4 Enveloped, Address to the VC, BUST and marked “BUST-CTGU Scholarship Application” on Top Left-Hand side.
