We’ve heard your concerns about transport to Amelia and the late return times. To resolve this, we’ve decided to change the venue for tomorrow’s event.

The new venue for the FET BLACK TIE EVENT 2026

We understand changes can be disappointing, and this decision wasn’t made lightly. We’re making it because we listen to you, and also to address the challenges most of you raised.

Before gaining admission into the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, candidates are required to sit for the University entrance concours. If you are unsure where or how to register, don't worry—we are here to guide you.

For candidates in Buea, we will recommend reliable registration centers where you can conveniently register for the various concours and obtain the necessary information. For those outside Buea or outside the University of Buea environment, there are also approved centers in different towns where you can complete your registration with ease.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. We are always available and ready to assist you throughout the registration process.

FET BLACK TIE EVENT — UPDATED NOTICE_ 👔 ✨

Dear Faculty of Engineering and Technology Students,

Please be informed that the FET Black Tie Event originally scheduled for the 4th of July has been rescheduled to 11th July 2026

Reason for postponement:

1. Our guest artist is now unavailable on the 4th and can only make it by the 11th
2. Final approval from the high hierarchy was not received in time

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. All other event details remain the same. A final reminder will be sent once arrangements are confirmed.

Today, a great day for civil and architectural engineering FET students of L400 students on picture 1 & L600 students of picture 2

L600 are currently executing the project of building the UB HTTC building while the L400 just finished decking the first part of the FET workshop building.
