TOPIC FOR TODAY: HOW TO EXECRCISE YOURSELF THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE (PART 7) – PRINCIPLES TO PRACTICE A LIFE OF PATIENCE (PART A)

BIBLE TEXT FOR TODAY: Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope

POINT FOR MEDITATION FOR TODAY: Patience is love on trial, love refined and selfishness conquered

MESSAGE: This is PART 7 of the sub series on “How to exercise yourself in the Supernatural Life”. Yesterday in PART B of the PART 6, we looked at what constitutes a worthy complaint. It is noted that a complaint is unworthy when you talk about your situation to a fellow man irrespective of who the person might be. We discovered that the right person to complain to is God not man. When you talk about your situation to men and never to God, your complaint is very illegitimate. It was realized that a complaint worthy when the communicating of the situation is directly to God irrespective who is with you or sympathizing with you. That God’s command is for us to pray, rejoice, give thanksgiving, and make our requests known to Him. He expects you to approach Him with whatever situation confronting you.

Today in the PART 7, we will are still looking at the Principles to Practice a lifestyle of Patience as another way to exercise yourself in the Supernatural Life. In PART 4 of this series, we looked at How to Practice Patience and we discoverd that Patience is a factor for the realization of the promises of God in your life. To exercise yourself in the supernatural requires that you must learn how to be patient. Therefore what are the Principles to Practice this life of Patience?

Principle 1. Practice Patience by Letting Love Rule Your Life
What does love have to do with faith and patience? Everything. Patience includes enduring wrong and ill treatment without anger or the feeling of revenge. It means enduring with people as much as it means enduring through a trial. Love, joy, faith, patience—these are all interconnected. If one is missing, the others won’t work right, and you’ll be left wondering why you aren’t getting a manifestation. Patience springs from love. The Bible says “love is patient” (1 Corinthians 13:4). So, if you want to have patience that fuels faith, you’ve got to be walking in love and showing patience to those around you. That means your life will reflect the following:
• You don’t snap at people when they frustrate you.
• You don’t make critical or rude remarks to others.
• You are not easily angered by the faukts and weaknesses of other
• You assume the best about others.
• You don’t respond impatiently when in a public place.
• You don’t become frustrated by the passage of time in any given situation.
• You don’t expect Christians to be perfect and are patient with their spiritual growth, just as God is patient with you.
• You are willing to wait at all times and in all situations.

Lester Sumrall said, “Long-suffering (patience) is love on trial, love refined and selfishness conquered.” So, if you struggle with patience, you’re struggling with love. And if you don't have patience working in you, you are not going to reveal a Christlike image to the world. (TO BE CONTINUED)

ACTION POINTS: Be intentional about your responses in adverse situations

PROPHETIC PRAYER: Father, thank you for your word to me today. Thank you for the understanding that patience is love on trial, love refined and selfishness conquered. I ask for the grace to practice this principle to a lifestyle of Patience. Father, help me by the Holy Spirit to be intentional in all my responses in all adverse situations as a way to exercise myself in this principle in the Name of Jesus Christ.

TOPIC FOR TODAY: UNDERSTANDING THE MYSTERY OF THE 12TH MONTH (PART 6) - TO BE GREATLY INCREASED ON EVERY SIDE.

BIBLE TEXT FOR TODAY: Job 8:7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

Job 42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning:

Ecclesiastes 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

POINT FOR MEDITATION FOR TODAY: Though your January to November seem slow and small but in this December, you shall be greatly increased

THE MESSAGE: This the PART 6 and the concluding Part of this study series “UNDERSTANDING THE MYSTERY OF THE 12th MONTH”. Yesterday in PART 5, we discovered from the Bible Text in Jeremiah 52:31 - 34 another mystery surrounding the 12th Month; which is Access to Strange Favours.

Today we will be looking at the concluding mystery of the 12h Month which is to be greatly increased on every side. It is a season of an all-round increase in its great form. It is a season to be greatly blessed and to be multiplied. From the Bible Text for today in Ecclesiastes 7: 8; it is discovered that better the end of a thing than the beginning. The 12 Month marks the end of the year; in other words, the 12th Month is designed to be better than all the previous Months of this year to you. It implies that no other month of the year should be described as a great month for you than the 12th Month. This month ought to be your best of months. It is the month of all months for you.

Secondly, in Job 8:7 it is recorded that “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase”. The 12th Month marks the latter end of the year. If this scripture is true and if the Word of God cannot be broken, it then entails that this 12th Month is designed for you to be a season wherein you shall be greatly increased. Though your January to November seem slow and small but in this December, you shall be greatly increased in the Name of Jesus Christ. There is a summation of blessing that must be released upon you this season to crown your end as being greatly increased. The force of smallness is destroyed. It is a season to terminate every foundation of smallness in your life in the Name of Jesus Christ. It is not just a season of increase but an increase that comes with greatness. It is an increase that guarantees your being announced and brought into another realm of life and living.

Lastly the bible records in Job 42:12; So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. The 12th Month is the latter end of the year; which connotes that as the Lord blessed the latter end of Job, so shall this month be unto you the season of more blessings. You shall receive in this month more blessings. Whatever great thing that ought to have happened in your life since January will be arriving with great speed this season in the Name of Jesus Christ. Every blessing that have been delayed shall surge in speedily in this season in the Name of Jesus Christ. Every force of delay is broken. Every blessing that ought to have been yours, receive speed for arrival in the Name of Jesus Christ.

REMINDER: Though your January to November seem slow and small but in this December, you shall be greatly increased

ACTION POINTS: Be conscious of these scriptural provisions for you in this month.

PROPHETIC PRAYER: Father, thank you for your word to me this morning. Thank you for this revelation about the Mystery of the 12th Month, that it is a season for me to be greatly increased on every side. Father, thank you for increasing me greatly and blessing me more in this month than every other months of this year. I refuse every realm of smallness in my life; I step into the realm of being greatly increased and of more blessings in the Name of Jesus Christ. I decree that every power of delay of the arrival of my blessing and benefits for this moth be terminated; let every blessing and increase receive speed for arrival in the Name of Jesus Christ.

TOPIC FOR TODAY: UNDERSTANDING THE MYSTERY OF THE 12TH MONTH (PART 5) - FOR STRANGE FAVOURS

BIBLE TEXT FOR TODAY: Jeremiah 52:31 - 34 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison, And spake kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon, And changed his prison garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life. And for his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.

POINT FOR MEDITATION FOR TODAY: In this month, it can only be by the Lord for your haters and captors to show you unrestrained and uncommon favours this season.

THE MESSAGE: This the PART 5 of this study series “UNDERSTANDING THE MYSTERY OF THE 12th MONTH”. Yesterday in PART 4, we discovered from the Bible Text in Jeremiah 52:33 another mystery surrounding the 12th Month; which is the sufficiency of supplies. We realized that it is a season of the sufficiency of supplies.

Today we will be looking at another mystery of the 12h Month which is Access to Strange Favours. From the Bible Text for today in Jeremiah 52: 31 – 34; it will be discovered that all that happened to King Jehoiachin of Judah can only be described as strange Favour. It can only take favour from the Lord for King Evilmerodach of Babylon to do all he did towards King Jehoiachin of Judah. From his release from prison, to his restoration to his throne, to the change of garment , to eating with the King on his table daily and to the constant provisions of daily foods for life, can only be explained as the acts of favour from the Lord. This favour can also be described as a strange favour.

What makes this kind of favour strange is that it was shown by a person least expected to do so. No one would have expected King Evilmerodach to show such great favour to a captive of war; nobody could have imagined that such a favour could be shown to King Jehoiachin of Judah by his captor. I declare to you that favours shall arise for you from sources you least expected and even from your haters in the name of Jesus Christ.

Also from the Bible Text in Jeremiah 52:31 -34; it will be discovered that the 12th Month is designed as a season and a period of strange favours especially from those whom you least expected to show such favours to you. It is also a season of receiving uncommon Favours from strange and umcommon quarters or sources. One thing unique about this favour is that it is something you didn’t ask for yet it was given to you. It is the kind of favour that comes without you soliciting for them. It is that kind of favour whereby the person through whom it came went all the way out against all odds to show you the favour. You may not deserve it yet it was shown to you. The things which you desire this season shall come to you unsolicited for in the Name of Jesus Christ. Favours unrequested for from sources unexpected shall locate you this season in the Name of Jesus Christ.

REMINDER: In this month, it can only be by the Lord for your haters and captors to show you unrestrained and uncommon favours this season.

ACTION POINTS: Keep your gaze upon the Lord and trust Him to move people to show you strange favours unsolicited for.

PROPHETIC PRAYER: Father, thank you for your word to me today. Thanks for this revelation about the Mystery of the 12th Month, that it is a season for strange favours to be shown towards me especially from sources I least expected and for things I unsolicited for. Father, help me to keep my gaze and focus on you in this season. Oh Lord cause men to go all out against all odds to favour me in this season in the Name of Jesus Christ. I receive strange and uncommon favours in the Name of Jesus Christ. For every frustrations since January to November, I receive plenty of favours this month in the Name of Jesus Christ.

TOPIC FOR THE DAY: ACTIVATING THE SPIRIT OF INCREASE (3): Speak Increase

BIBLE TEXT FOR TODAY: Romans 4:17 “…even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were”.

POINT FOR MEDITATION FOR TODAY: Your mouth shapes you life and circumstances and it is the agency to expand your life beyond where you are.

THE MESSAGE: This is the Part 3 of the series on “Activating the Spirit of Increase”. In Part 1, we had considered “Understanding Increase as the will of God for you” as the No. 1 way of activating the Spirit of increase; in Part 2 we also considered “Believing in the Word of God” as the No.2 way to activate the Spirit of Increase. Today, we will be considering the third and the last way to activate the Spirit of Increase; which is: Speak Increase

From our Bible Text for today, it can be seen that God calls those things that are not as though they already exist. This is what is also expected of us as His Children. Jesus said in John 8:38; “I speak that which I have seen with my Father…”. In other words Jesus is saying whatever I see my Father do, the same I do”; which also connotes that we are to follow the Father’s example. You have been created in His image to do the same things that He does. When your finances look bleak, speak to them. When your body looks sick, speak to it. When your faith is weak and you feel afraid, speak. Speak to your mountain.

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says” (Mark 11:23, KJV; also see Matthew 21:21, 17:20; Luke 17:6).

If you believe that the things you say will come to pass, they will. You shall have whatsoever you say. That’s an amazing promise. Speak to your body. Speak to your finances. Speak to your children’s lives. They were created to expand and carry on a legacy. Every single part of your life was meant to expand and increase. You were created in the image of God and the Word says that His kingdom is ever expanding. So no longer be subject to your circumstances. Rise up and understand that you were created for increase.

The mouth was not given to you just to eat and talk, rather it was given to shape your life and destiny. Proverbs 12: 14 say “a man’s life shall be filled by the fruits of his mouth”. Your mouth shapes your life and your surrounding circumstances. Your mouth is the agency to expand your life beyond where you are. Jesus said “the word I speak to you they are spirit and they are life”. Your words are the vehicle in the spirit realm that brings to you the things you desire. God brought things into being by speaking them forth. The human body is so limited that God gave man an agency to express himself beyond the realms of whatever limitation he might find himself. That agency is your mouth. The Mouth was given to you to chart the course of your life and destiny. Jesus said “ the words I speak to you, they are spirit…” this means that you can go beyond every realm of limitation by your words. Your words are limitless and can get into anywhere to create the things spoken forth.

REMINDER: Your mouth shapes you life and circumstances and it is the agency to expand your life beyond where you are.

ACTION POINTS: get words from the bible and use them to speak to your life.

PROPHETIC PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me this morning. Thank you for the revelation that my mouth shapes my life and circumstances and it is the agency to expand my life beyond where I am. Father, I speak to my life, I will never be small. I will increase on every side abundantly. I speak to my Finance, you shall never dry up, I increase with Silver and Gold and with every material and human resources. I speak to my body receive strength and be strong for the great assignments of God for you. I speak to my Children, you shall fulfill your days in God and great shall be your peace. I speak to my career, by you shall I be relevant to my generation and create impact for God. I am blessed abundantly and I am a blessing to many. I give hope to many. I am of the life giving Spirit, strengthened with might from the inner man by the Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

BIBLE TEXT FOR TODAY: 2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

POINT FOR MEDITATION FOR TODAY: The way you study the bible determines the kind of treasures you derive from it.

THE MESSAGE: This is the PART 5 of the new teaching series on DEVELOPING AN EFFECTIVE BIBLE STUDY PLAN. Yesterday in the PART 4, we looked at HOW TO LAY OUT A GOOD BIBLE STUDY PLAN. Today we will be looking at the TYPES OF STUDY YOU CAN ENGAGE IN FOR YOUR PERSONAL BIBLE STUDY.

Bible as we all know is a rich content, full of treasures that can enhance and enrich your life. The way you study the bible determines the kind of treasures you derive from it. Though the Bible is full of treasures, yet you can still go through it and will not gain anything because you lack guidance on how to engage the bible in an effective study that will enrich your life.

TYPES OF STUDIES YOU CAN ENGAGE IN
1. Book Study of the Bible. This involves studying the bible book by book. Going through each books of the Bible. This will help you to go through the entire story line of the bible. It is the most recommended way to the study of the bible because you become abreast with the entire stories as they are scripturally.

2. Topical Study of the Bible. This is classified into:
a. Biographical Study – where you study about specific characters of the Bible. There are persons of the scriptures that needs to be studies so as to discover their uniqueness and how it could be appropriated into your own life. For instance, to claim the blessings of Abraham, you must need to understand the lifestyle of Abraham and how you could appropriate it for yourself.
b. Subject Study – this involves the study of certain subject matters in the scriptures such Faith, Love, Holiness etc
c. Geographical Study – this involves the study of nations, cities and certain archaeological events of the scriptures. It also involves the study of mountains and other sites in the scriptures. This helps you to know the names and nature of cities and as it affects its prosperity. This also includes the study of seasons in the bible.
d. Agricultural Study – this involves the study of certain crops in scriptures. Their meaning and definite implications.
The Danger of topical study is that atimes certain scriptures or verses of scriptures could be taken to support the topical teaching which may not be in the right context.

3. Inductive Bible Study – this involves examining the word critically so as to gather information that will enable you draw definite conclusions. It involves asking questions like “what does this scripture say or means? It involves examining the facts and the truth presented in such scripture.

4. Expository Bible Study – this involves studying the Bible in context so as to allow the word to say exactly what it wants to say. During expository study of the Bible, you don’t read meaning into the scriptures, rather, it is a way of giving the bible the chance to speak for itself. It allows you to see what the bible says in it's true context and what it contextually mean. It is a way of taking into serious account the Context and the Content of the scriptures. It entails:
a. Book to Book Expository study,
b. Chapter to Chapter Expository study and
c. Group of Verses Expository study.

REMINDER: The way you study the bible determines the kind of treasures you derive from it.

ACTION POINTS: Determine the type of Study to adopt.

PROPHETIC PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me this morning. Thank you for the revelation that the way I study the bible determines the kind of treasures I can derive from it. I ask for the wisdom to actually choose the right type of study that will enrich my life tremendously in the Name of Jesus Christ.
