However, special note is taken that accreditation does not determine the quality of teaching and does not evaluate the potential of a student. In some cases, accredited colleges may not accept transfer courses and degrees completed at unaccredited colleges and some employers may require an accredited degree as a basis for eligibility for employment. Potential students, therefore, should consider how the above may affect their interests before they enroll with KIU. At KIU we respect the unique rules and regulations of each country and do not seek to influence the respective authorities. In the event that a prospective student wishes to carry out any government review or process in regards to his university degree, we recommend that the requirements of such are explored in detail with the relevant authorities by the prospective student as the university does not intervene in such processes. Before enrolling at KIU it is paramount to read the accreditation policies of the different accrediting bodies providing a license to KIU. KIU has students from over 50 countries that actively participate in the development of their communities. Some KIU Alumni have obtained employment with the United States Army, United Nations, UNHCR, WHO, IMF, UNICEF, FAO, public and private enterprises of their respective countries, and on international recruitment.
