The Tropical Institute for Development Studies (TIDES) on Wednesday 11th July 2012 signed a memorable partnership accord with its mother organization - the Organization For Life Care (OFLIC) to provide technical assistance in the development of a giant conservation project in Mezam Division of the the North West Region of Cameroon.
The project will amongst other sustainable development achievements, establish a self-sustaining ecotourism reserve.
A major component of the accord, allows both institutions to mobilize their national and international partners to support the project. It is expected that TIDES will use the conservation sites established by the project as research and fieldtrip destinations for its students in the future.
