🚢The 15th National Marine Vehicle Design & Manufacturing Competition, the 3rd Ship & Ocean Engineering Teaching Innovation Competition, and the 2nd National Youth Marine Vehicle Competition were held at BIT's Zhuhai campus from Aug 8-9.

🥇A record-breaking 10,427 participants and 1,868 teams — selected from nearly 32,000 students and faculty nationwide — came together to showcase innovations in marine vehicle design, intelligent control, and surface & underwater equipment.

🏢To further enhance the campus environment and student experience, BIT has completed 11 new residence halls at its Liangxiang Campus.

BIT recognized for excellence in international education! 🌍🎓

🎉BIT has been recognized with seven exemplary cases in the 2026 Study in China international education cases.

The selected cases showcase BIT's innovative practices in enhancing international student education, promoting cross-cultural exchange between Chinese and international students, and supporting students’ mental well-being.

🙌💡Chinese researchers have uncovered the cellular origin, differentiation pathways and species-specific features of human primitive hematopoiesis, filling a theoretical gap in understanding the developmental rules that operate just before the onset of human gastrulation.

✨The findings, by researchers from the Institute of Hematology & Blood Diseases Hospital at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (IHCAMS), Beijing Institute of Technology, and the Chinese PLA General Hospital, were recently published online in the journal Nature.
