𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐥-𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐛𝐢 (𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐, 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫, 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠) 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐘𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧. 🇾🇪

Guided by the belief that China would become an AI frontrunner, Mohammed Adel Al-Sanebi (class of 2022, bachelor, Faculty of Computing) from Yemen pursued his dream at . 🇨🇳

What has impressed him the most during his time at HIT is that the teachers here are very approachable. Before coming, he assumed that highly accomplished professors would maintain a certain distance from students. However, the reality at HIT changed his view. The teachers are profoundly knowledgeable yet remain approachable and unpretentious. "Even after class, the teachers patiently and meticulously answer my questions, never evading or giving perfunctory replies," he recalled with gratitude. "They also proactively check on my academic progress, which is incredibly encouraging." 💡💪

He admits that, as an international student, his academic journey can be challenging, often requiring him to balance demanding major courses with Chinese language study at the same time. Despite this, he firmly believes his hard work will pay off. "After graduation, I hope to find my place in China's high-tech sector and put what I've learned into practice!" 🚀

𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐢𝐦 𝐌𝐢𝐣𝐮 (𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫) 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐚. 🇰🇷

As a sophomore majoring in Digital Media at , Kim Miju has a deep passion for photography. 📷

"I love sharing my campus life on Instagram," she says. "Photos are meaningful to me – they record my past memories and goals📝. I often take pictures of things happening at school, as it is popular for everyone to post their daily lives online." The rich campus activities provide her with abundant shooting materials. She has made new friends, developed new hobbies and found her future direction here.

"Sharing my life on social media allows my friends and family to understand my studies and life abroad," she explains. "It helps me maintain close connections with them. It also helps me build closer relationships with foreign friends. We often collaborate on planning vlogs and photoshoots 🎞️, from brainstorming ideas to filming together, and even recreate popular trends on Instagram."

"Although balancing shooting with exams can be challenging," she admits, "the process is rewarding and full of unforgettable memories." ✨

In the future, she plans to continue creating videos and photos. She hopes to film dance videos with the cheerleading team and explore other areas, such as conducting interviews and documenting more campus stories. "I hope my video can serve as a bridge between international students and China, and tell the stories about China that I have learned to the world 🌏," she shared.

In the early summer season, all things flourish together as classmates from across the world gather in harmony, connecting cultures from every nation. 🌍

On May 17, the 6th International Cultural Carnival of Harbin Institute of Technology officially opened on the campus pedestrian street, where nearly one hundred international cultural booths brought colorful experiences from around the world into the campus. 🎭 🎶More than 300 Chinese and international students presented over 40 spectacular performances blending artistic traditions from different countries, showcasing the charm of global cultural exchange. 🤝

At HIT, students warmly embrace the world and together display the vibrant international spirit of youth. ❤️ 💪
