DU Yuhang, an undergraduate at 's School of Integrated Circuits and Micro-Nano Electronics, recently returned from a two-and-a-half-month research visit at Harvard.

But his research journey started long before that. As a core author, he has already published multiple papers at top international conferences including ASPLOS and ICCAD.

He doesn't stop at research. He brings cutting-edge AI and chip science to everyone — from campus lectures to middle schools, from community audiences to industry professionals at China's National Integrated Circuit Innovation Center. Because great science deserves great storytelling.

This is “Seeing Each Other” — a photography exchange program co-organized by , UC Irvine, and the Cyrus Tang Foundation. No filters, no algorithms. Just real encounters, one frame at a time.

📷 The man who never stopped shooting.

For 40 years, Professor GU Zheng, a journalism professor at , has quietly walked the streets of Shanghai and beyond, camera in hand. His photography mantra? "Something that challenges convention, yet sparks imagination."

That pursuit has now placed him among the world's most distinguished photography jurors.

This year, Gu has been invited to serve as an international judge for the 2026 (LOBA), making him the first Chinese judge in the award's history.

Nearly 20 years of serving on major international photography juries — including the World Press Photo (WPP) finals, where he was also the first Chinese final-round judge.

From July 8–14, the Fudan University International Summer Music Camp came to a beautiful close.

Over 60 young musicians—from Shanghai, Beijing, Fujian, Guangxi, and across the globe (US, Indonesia, Sweden, and beyond)—came together at Fudan for one unforgettable week.

We crossed mountains and oceans, shared rhythms and melodies, and grew not just as musicians, but as friends.

Pushing high-temperature superconductivity to its absolute limit.
Our team, led by Prof. ZHANG Yuanbo at Fudan's Department of Physics, has successfully synthesized the first-ever single-CuO₂-plane cuprate superconductor — taking a material down to just one atomic layer.
Published in Nature, this work confirms the 2D nature of high-Tc superconductivity and uncovers a surprising anomalous metallic state at the quantum critical point.
