🌏 Polina, a 24-year-old from Russia, found something special in Shenzhen: drones delivering milk tea while migratory birds rest peacefully by the bay. "Not every smart city would prioritize that," she says. "Shenzhen is truly lovely."

As the gentle breeze ripples across Mirror Lake and the iconic Rainbow Bridge frames our skyline, we welcome Xiaoman (小满).💝

In traditional agriculture, Xiaoman marks the time when grain plumps up but isn't quite ripe yet. It’s a beautiful metaphor for life at PKUShenzhen. Like the young seedlings nurtured by the gentle splash of a traditional water wheel, our research, late-night lab sessions, and academic pursuits are beginning to fill with substance. We are in that sweet spot of growth: full of potential, working hard, and anticipating the harvest.🪻
