☀️Starting university in a new country takes more than a classroom.

🎉On September 21, our new international students gathered at Yanta Campus for a day of sessions covering both the practical and the personal: managing money and staying safe from financial risks abroad, settling into campus life and supporting mental well-being, and learning about the history and culture of Shaanxi. They also had time to make mooncakes by hand.

👀They also visited the Chang'an University History Museum, tracing the university's journey and the spirit behind it.

🌕Mooncakes, handmade lanterns, and a room full of laughter… this is how CHUers celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival together.

🎙️On September 22 and 23, Chinese and international students came together for a hands-on celebration, learning the stories and traditions behind the festival before putting them into practice.

🥮They also made snow-skin mooncakes and designed lanterns. From kneading and filling to pressing the mooncake molds, and from cutting paper to decorating their own lanterns, students worked side by side and put their own creative touches on every piece.

🎑For many international students, this was a new cultural experience, offering a closer look at the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Let us enjoy the warmth of being together and sharing good wishes with the people around us.

🌏On September 14, more than 50 new international students from 26 countries visited the Qin Han Museum of the Shaanxi History Museum.

📷From ancient inventions to Silk Road stories, the visit brought students closer to the history behind their new surroundings. Exploring the exhibits together helped turn what they had learned about China into something they could see up close, sparking curiosity about its culture and connections with the wider world.

🎉As CHU celebrates 70 years of international education, our newest CHUers are beginning their own experiences of learning and discovery here. Looking forward, we will keep offering more opportunities for international students to explore China, make friends, and feel more at home.

☀️On September 11, our outstanding CHUers took the stage for a peer-sharing session, welcoming the new international students with real stories from their own journeys at CHU.

🎉From dorm life and off-campus living tips to student clubs, sports, and the international student union, each speaker offered practical advice on settling in, getting involved, and making campus feel like home.

☀️A new place, a new beginning, and now, a CHU badge of your own.

🎉This September 11, Chang'an University welcomed its new international students at the opening ceremony.

🎙️For Arlan Nurganat, speaking for the new CHUers, the nervousness of those first days on campus has already faded, replaced by a determination to make the most of what's ahead. Senior student Amin Ullah Khan encouraged everyone to step out of their comfort zone, ask for help when they need it, and enjoy the journey.

🎉Congratulations to Chang'an University students Patrick Mwanza and Shyaka Paul! Their recitation piece, Qinqiang, won second prize in the university category of the Shaanxi regional round of the "Recitation China" recitation competition.

🎙️Through fluent Chinese, the two CHUers shared their appreciation of Qinqiang, Shaanxi’s traditional opera, and the history and culture behind it.

✨As we celebrate 70 years of international education at CHU, it’s wonderful to see our students use Chinese to explore local traditions and bring their own perspectives to the stage.
