As part of the global celebrations for XJTLU’s 20th Anniversary, the “Lighting Up the World” campaign illuminated the iconic Gate to the East in Suzhou from 29–31 May. ✨
The city skyline came alive with a special fountain show featuring XJTLU’s anthem, Onwards We Go, celebrating two decades of growth, innovation, and worldwide connection.

Fifteen years ago, Professor Konstantinos Papadikis boarded a one-way flight from London to Shanghai to help build Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University from the ground up ✈️
