Moon Chun Memorial College MCM College seeks to nurture the collective talents of students, faculty, and UM Community to build a vibrant, world-class college.

As a constituent Colleges of the University of Macau, MCM College undertakes the journey as one where we make our lives here together. It is a truism that the world we live in is one of constant change, yet we know the most elemental and essential things rarely change. Throughout the Collegiate piste, UM"s responsibilities to our students are at least twofold: to provide quality teaching and an optimal learning environment, and to give our students the tools they require to create lives which are rich and meaningful.

In celebration of the 45th anniversary of the University of Macau, Moon Chun Memorial College cordially invites you to the "MCMC Musicales: Roots and Migration" Concert, to be held on Wednesday, 21 October 2026.

Roots and Migrations is an international touring project that explores identity, heritage, and migration through music, promoting contemporary Italian musical culture and fostering long-term intercultural exchange. It unfolds across seven site-specific concerts in Italy, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Thailand, with the Baraldi Duo at its core—their artistic identity, shaped by European training and Eastern roots, reflects a vision of culture as a dynamic and evolving space.

Duo Baraldi is formed by Italian-Chinese brothers Demian (violin) and Dylan (cello). They trained at the Universitat Mozarteum Salzburg, the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, and have performed at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Concertgebouw, the Philharmonie de Paris, the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House and the National Theater of Korea. They have collaborated with orchestras including the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Teatro La Fenice, the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and perform regularly in chamber music with members of the Berliner Philharmoniker. In 2024, they released their debut album of previously unpublished works for Brilliant Classics.

Please scan the QR code for registration if you are interested in attending.

This project is also made possible thanks to the partnership with ATER Fondazione.
