Assoc. Prof. Dr. Payam Mahasti delivered a seminar titled “Bridging Site and City: From Urban Analysis to Architectural Decisions,” exploring the relationship between urban context and architectural design decisions.
Senior Instructor Zafer Cafer Volkan presented “Regulatory Framework of the Project Site: TRNC Zoning Regulations with an Overview of Fire Safety and Accessibility Requirements,” highlighting the importance of zoning regulations, fire safety standards, and accessibility requirements in architectural practice.
These seminars provided students with valuable insights into the integration of urban analysis, design thinking, and regulatory considerations in the architectural design process, supporting the development of informed, context-sensitive, and responsible graduation projects.
