🎲📚 Expanding the Heritage Game network!

Although the Heritage Game project has officially come to an end, its story is far from over.
This week, we had the pleasure of meeting with Assoc. Prof. Lucie Betáková, Vice-Dean for International Relations, and Mgr. Renata Janktová from the Department of English Studies. During the meeting, we shared the key outcomes of our project and presented our new monograph, Gamification of Heritage for Community Involvement in Low-Density Territories.

What started as a presentation of project results quickly evolved into a discussion about future possibilities. Together, we explored ways to involve additional academics in activities and identified opportunities for new interdisciplinary collaborations and international projects.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the meeting was seeing how the ideas developed within Heritage Game continue to resonate beyond the original project team. The enthusiasm for heritage-based learning, gamification, community engagement, and international cooperation confirmed that the project's impact continues to grow.

✨ We are proud that the outcomes of Heritage Game not only contribute to research and education, but also inspire new partnerships, fresh ideas, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

The project may have officially ended, but its community is still expanding.

👉 From QR treasure hunts to heritage discoveries: Heritage Game in action at Researchers’ Night! 🚀🏛️📱

During this year’s Researchers’ Night, visitors had the opportunity to experience Heritage Game, an educational app that transforms cultural heritage into an interactive adventure. By solving challenges, scanning QR codes, and uncovering stories hidden in their surroundings, participants discovered how digital technologies can make heritage learning more engaging and accessible.

It was fantastic to see families, children, and curious visitors stopping by our stand, testing the app, and joining the adventure. Every interaction provided valuable feedback and showed the potential of game-based approaches to heritage education. 🎮✨

A big thank you to everyone who visited us and became a heritage explorer for the evening. We look forward to bringing Heritage Game to even more communities and events in the future!
