Významná pravěká lokalita, která se zapsala do dějin výzkumu evropského neolitu objevem kruhového sociokultovního areálu – tzv. Ten byl v letech 1968-1978 prvním komplexně prozkoumaným objektem tohoto druhu ve střední Evropě. V roce 1964 v poloze „Sutny“ zahájila výzkum tehdejší katedra prehistorie brněnské univerzity pod vedením Vladimíra Podborského, který je autorem několika monografií o této lokalitě. Výzkumy spojené s pravidelnou praxí studentů zde každoročně provádí Ústav archeologie a muzeologie Filozofické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity v Brně. About us:
An important prehistoric locality, which entered the history of European Neolithic research with the discovery of a circular socio-cultural area - the so-called "rondel". In the years 1968-1978, it was the first comprehensively researched object of this kind in Central Europe. In 1964, the then Department of Prehistory of the University of Brno, under the direction of Vladimír Podborský, who is the author of several monographs on this locality, began research in the "Sutny" site. The research connected with the regular practice of students is carried out here every year by the Department of Archeology and Museology, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno.
