Náš doktorand Kalaluka Kwalombota se v rámci svého studia zapojil do zajímavé mezinárodní akce organizované Aliancí RUN-EU. 🌍 Získal tak cenné zkušenosti, nové kontakty i inspiraci do další práce (více v jeho vlastním komentáři v angličtině). 👇
"In early March I joined my first RUN – European University programme at NHL Stenden in Friesland, Netherlands, Celebrate and Accelerate Entrepreneurship. We were tasked with researching real challenges facing the Friesland region, proposing solutions, and pitching them. It was demanding work, but one lesson in particular has stayed with me. What the coordinators insisted on, above everything else, was problem definition. They would not let us move forward on any idea until we could clearly articulate the problem underneath it. That meant questioning assumptions, testing reasoning, and separating the symptom from the cause. It is a discipline I now apply to my own research, and one I had underestimated. Working alongside participants from different academic and cultural backgrounds sharpened that further. Ideas had to survive scrutiny from people who thought differently, which is the only kind of scrutiny that matters. My thanks to the professors and mentors at NHL Stenden, and to the Technical University of Liberec for the opportunity."
