In July, Lenka Dušková and Simona Ĺ afaĹ™Ăková taught at our partner Hassan II University in Casablanca, Morocco 🇲🇦Their exchange took place thanks to the ERASMUS+ ICM KA 171 (International Credit Mobility) program.
As part of their engagement, they taught an entire course on qualitative research for Moroccan master’s and doctoral students, with whom they also consulted on their research. As part of this intensive course, students also went out into the field to learn how to collect data through observation and interviews. During their stay, our faculty members also attended several master’s thesis defenses by students who had been on an exchange program at our department earlier during the summer semester. All of these students successfully completed their studies and received their master’s degrees.
This collaboration has a long-standing tradition at our department, and thanks to it, there is a constant exchange of expertise between the two institutions through teaching, student exchanges, and the sharing of experiences. Following these mobility programs, the collaboration deepens every year and is enriched with new activities (e.g., joint hybrid teaching, doctoral seminars, etc.).
